Introduction to Health Care Industry Marketplace What is KoBio Marketplace?

Marketplace is a platform for cyber trading support that matches Korea's promising companies in the field of health care/BT with overseas demand. For domestic companies part, it opens up a path to export and support overseas marketing, while it provides foreign companies with an opportunity to explore Korea's technologies and interested products, thereby supporting trade between companies and constantly creating cooperative demands.
Key contents of Marketplace
  1. Provide general information on promising Korean pharmaceutical products / medical equipment and a window for primary contact.
  2. Provide general information on promising Korean pharmaceutical products / medical equipment manufacturers and a window for primary contact.
  3. Provide general information on technologies developed in Korea including various new medicine development projects, new biotechnologies, etc. and a window for primary contact.
  4. Provides overall information on the Korea health care market.
In order to use KoBio's marketplace service, you need to register as our member.
  • KoBio website uses a common identification system with Digital KOTRA. A member company of
    KoBio must go through at least a single-time confirmation on website to join KoBio membership

How to use member companies' information

Have you filled in your company information? You can register your company info after joining in as KoBio's member.
Once joining in as a member, you can register company info/technology info/product offers/technology collaboration offers. Other member companies who are interested in your profiles may come into business contact as these materials you offer will be searched through KoBio's engine.
  1. STEP 1. Registering my company info. On <My Page>
    • Go to MyPage>Managing your 'Member Information'>Company Informationto register basic company information
    • You basic company information is exposed at Marketplace > Member Companies' Information

      * In case members wish to exchange detailed company info, the two parties make [inquiries for detailed information]. Only with your confirmation to expose your own detailed information to the counterpart, the other party can view your detailed company/technology/product info. This communication can be made if you register your detailed information.

  2. STEP 2. Checking your company information after registration
    • When your Company info is successfully registered, the results can be checked at Marketplace>Member Companies’ Information.

      [A]:As a (Member), press (Request details) [B]:As a (Guest), press (Send inquiry mail)

      In case members wish to exchange detailed company info, the two parties make [inquiries for detailed information]. Only with your confirmation to expose your own detailed information to the counterpart, the other party can view your detailed company/technology/product info. This communication can be made if you register your detailed information.

      • [A]If the counterpart is a 'Member'; you can view its detailed info by checking the "inquire contact number: and "inquire detailed company info" boxes and sending the message. You may view the "partner's detailed info" after the partner agrees to expose his detailed profile.
      • [B]If the counterpart is a "Guest". You may send an inquiry message. After that, you may be able to exchange communication through KoBio's mailing system.

      If your partner happens to block you out, you cannot ask for his detailed information.

    • In Mypage>Convenient Service>Messages>Received Message, you can check other members' offers for your information, and you will view the following pop-up

      On basic company info., a gist of the company can be viewed. For further details on your interested company you must make inquiry to the corresponding company for detailed company info, and if the counterpart confirms and agrees to share details, you may view it on the "Detailed Info" tab.

      • [A]A member's contact number can be viewed only after you acquire consent of the corresponding party.
      • [B]Connect to the member's detailed company info page, and you will find newly created "see details" tab, if the member agreed to give you contact number. Press the tab to find out more about the member.
      • [C]On View Details page, you may 'Bookmark' and 'File Complaint' the contents.( the function serves commonly to detailed pages on product/technologyoffers)
    • You can enter keyword and search information via a search engine. Searchable contents types include products. technology, members, offers, and trade related info.

      • [A]if you click "advanced search". you can see not just keyword search results but also more customized search results through category and registration date designation.

How to use 'Members products on sale' menu

Here, members can register products to sell.
In order to register products to sell, you must first enter your company Information in My Page.
  1. STEP 1. Registering Products for Sale
    • Click [Register Product] button in MyPage>My products/technologies to sell>Product Info
    • After you submit your product information, it will be exposed in Marketplace> Member companies' products on sale

      * Enter all items for product information on each registration page.

  2. STEP 2. Checking Product Info after Registration
    • When your product info is successfully registered, the results can be checked at Marketplace>Member companies' products on sale.

      In the detailed product info, page, you can find product's gist. For further details on the product, you must request for product details to the owner, and gain confirmation. After that, [B] you may review the material in "Detailed product info"

      • [A] You can make a request for detailed info on the related popup page. Check the 'subjects for detailed info'
        item, and press the 'Send' button to make a request.
    • In Mypage>Convenient Service>Messages>Received Message, you can check other members' offers for your information, and you will view the following pop-up

How to use 'Members' companies technologies' menu

You can view technology information the members retain
In order to register your technology info, you must first register your company information at MyPage
  1. STEP 1. Registering technology info
    • Click [Register Tech.] at MyPage>My products/technologies to sell>Technology Info.
    • As you register technology information, your technology information will be exposed at Marketplasce> Member companeis' technologies

  2. STEP 2. Checking Technology Info after Registration
    • When your Technology info is successfully registered, the results can be checked at Marketplace>Member Companies' Technologies.
