1. What is KoBio Marketplace?
Marketplace is a platform for cyber trading support that matches Korea’s promising companies in the field of health care/BT with overseas demand. For domestic companies, it opens up a path to export and support overseas marketing, while providing foreign companies with an opportunity to explore Korea’s technologies and interested products, thereby propping up trade between companies and constantly creating cooperative demand.

3. How to Use Marketplace

A. Register information
|

To allow product and technology buyers to find your company in KoBio, it is necessary to post your company’s information, products, technologies, etc. to My Page in KoBio. By doing so, your company’s information will be searched in KoBio and any interested buyers will contact your company.

B. Search products and technologies in the Marketplace
|
|
|
|
Through KoBio, you can search for products and technologies available and for sales, including medical equipment, pharmaceutical products, functional foods, etc., and you can contact the company that retains products or technologies you are searching for, through memos or emails on the site.

1) Searching for members’ products
|
|
You can search for medical equipment, pharmaceutical products, functional foods, etc., registered by companies across the globe.

|
|
⇒ Click ‘Product’ at the upper part of ‘Marketplace’, select the desired country or member types for search in the current list search , then enter keywords for aimed goods or technology. Click ‘Search” to find the result.

⇒ If you want more detailed information than the searched outcome, click the tile or image of the information. It will bring you to “Marketplace > Products > member selling products > View contents”. There will be an icon in front of a company name. Guest ID that entered by a KBC(KOTRA Business Centers) trade officers in the administrator mode will become ‘guest’, while the ID of registered member will be marked as a regular ‘member. If you click “add to bookmark”, the information will be saved in the bookmark at My Page.

⇒ If you enter the “view contents” of the member selling product, you can see the screen. It will present overall information of the product. To find more detailed product information, please ask for screening permission from the relevant company. After you obtain permission from the company, you can refer information in ‘View details”. It will show not just products on sale, but also technology information and company details. Also, after you received permission for detailed information for individual member, you can see the other’s contact details.

2) Sending a memo & receiving a reply
|
|
ð You can use memo to request detailed information or contact, or other information from a buyer. Click the name of the buyer in “view company Info.” to send a memo. You can just check the detailed information request box and write your own particular request. If you want to learn about detailed information on the person in charge and his contact no., you should also disclose your own detailed information. If the counterpart has blocked your ID, you cannot ask for detailed information.

ð If there is a memo from someone who wants to view my information, a window pops up as the above. If you click “accept”, detailed information that you registered will be transmitted to the requester.
You must become a registered member to see the memos that you have received. As KoBio site uses an integrated authentication system with Digital Kotra site, you should first go to Digital Kotra to join the membership, and then log in at KoBio site.

2) Search information
ð You can enter a keyword and search for your information of interest via a search engine. Searchable contents types include products, technologies, members, offers, trade related info.
ð If you click “advanced search”, you can see not just keyword search results but also more customized search results through category and registration date designation, etc.
