Kotra held a premium international medical and biotech event, Global BioTech Forum in May 2008, in light of activating an important growth engine for future new industries, opening new field of overseas market, benefitting both the exporters and importers. As a result, the event saw a total number of 526 visitors flocking in during the three consecutive event days, including 241 professionals from 184 countries, 11 global conglomerates, and marked itself officially as a representative bio/pharmaceutical international event.
